Endoscopic minimally invasive treatment is an important way to achieve early diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, and is another important method for surgical resection. Surgical drainage is an important means of preventing and treating complications. This article will illustrate the application of surgical drainage concept in endoscopic minimally invasive procedures with examples, compare the similarities and differences between endoscopic drainage and surgical drainage, in order to provide new ideas for the promotion of surgical drainage concept in endoscopic minimally invasive procedures, to reduce the incidence of adverse events, and to improve the safety of endoscopic minimally invasive treatment.
