Abstract: Gastric paresis is a chronic debilitating disease, which characterized by symptoms of delayed gastric emptying, for which there is no effective endoscopic treatment option. The first case of Gastric peroralendoscopic pyloromyotomy (G-POEM) offered a new way to deal with the problem of gastroparesis. Its safety and efficacy had also been proved in the case series afterwards. As an emerging method of natural orifice translumenal endoscopic surgery, G-POEM gained more and more attention. Therefore, this review were aimed to summarized the current application and research status of G-POEM for gastric paresis.
